Summary

The Climate Change section shows predicted changes in temperature and rainfall under projections developed by CSIRO, based on Representative Concentration Pathway (RCP) greenhouse gas concentration scenarios.

How to use this information

Use this information to get an understanding of how future changes in the climate would impact productivity or risk of extreme weather events on the property.

Components

Useful to know

The four RCP scenarios are: RCP2.6, RCP4.5, RCP7.0 and RCP8.5

The lighter coloured are of each chart corresponds to the 20% and 80% percentile values from the four RCP scenarios.

From Wikipedia:

“Representative Concentration Pathways (RCP) are climate change scenarios to project future greenhouse gas concentrations. These pathways (or trajectories) describe future greenhouse gas concentrations (not emissions) and have been formally adopted by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC)."
