Agtuary’s greenhouse gas emissions assessment calculates a property’s emissions based on its business activities and the consumption of energy, fuel and commodities.

It works by collecting information about any livestock, crop or land management at the property (along with related fuel, electricity and commodity consumption), then posting that information to a GHG emissions calculator.

The GHG emissions calculator is managed by Agricultural Innovation Australia (AIA), as part of their collaboration with Melbourne University **to digitise Melbourne University’s Greenhouse Accounting Framework (GAF) Excel tools.
